High School Acting and Improv – Tues 7 to 8 pm – Fall 2021
High School Acting & Improv – In Person!
In this class, students will explore: acting techniques to nail the audition or scene, improvisational based scene work, intro to Upright Citizens Brigade style improv training, and comedic monologues (if you will be auditioning for college programs, you're going to need the oft neglected comedic monologue, so start upping your funny game now!)
Tuesdays, 7 to 8 pm
10-week session: Sept 28; Oct 5, 12, 19, 26; Nov 2, 9, 16, 30; Dec 7 (We realize some students may have conflicts with their school shows; students may do makeup classes by attending the 7th & 8th Grade Acting & Improv Class on a day they are free.)
Classes will be held at the beautiful Toquet Hall in downtown Westport:
58 Post Rd E, Westport, CT (at the bottom of Main Street; you can enter from the alley on the Post Rd or through the alley on the library side—it's hidden, but it's there!)
We are thrilled to have Keith Contreras-McDonald coming out from New York to teach our acting classes! Keith was a professional child actor, is a graduate of the esteemed Juilliard School, and has worked extensively as an adult on stage and screen. Read Keith's Full Bio.
