Screenwriting Workshop for Actors

$ 90.00

Adult Screenwriting Workshop

You may know what an actor looks for in a script—but do you know what a writer looks for in an actor? In this 2.5 hour workshop, we will explore the connection between actor and writer. When a writer creates an episode or series or a movie they build a world of conflict, stakes and layered characters that best serve the story they are trying to tell. It's your job as an actor to understand the structure of story and the mechanics of the narrative so that you can make the most vivid and interesting choices as an actor. Understanding what's on the page and the way it's crafted will allow you, as an actor, to be a valued asset to any production—be it film, television, or stage. Are you simply saying the lines or delivering nuanced moments that the writer has intended? Join me to explore these questions and many more. And we will manage to have a few laughs along the way!
