The No B.S. Talk on Where You Belong and How to Get There

Recorded August 23, 2021 (Register here to receive the link to the recorded talk)

If you are—or have—a high school student interested in applying to college musical theater programs, this talk is for you! Trapper Felides is coming to Triple Threat with his energetic no-nonsense approach to the Musical Theater BFA college audition process (plus some input on BA options). It has been a year and a half since the pandemic rocked The Great White Way and the graduating class of 2021 bore that brunt. The world is getting back from Covid (let’s hope!) and this audition season will be the beginning of yet another new paradigm.

Zoom has changed the audition sphere but the end game remains the same: ya gotta get in. If you’re in high school, no matter what grade, now’s the time to capitalize on the wealth of information that Trapper and his colleagues have put together over the last 20 years.

Join Trapper, Triple Threat founder and Golden-Globe nominated actress Cynthia Gibb, and a stellar panel of faculty, graduates, and current students from top schools: Victoria Bussert, Director of Musical Theatre, Baldwin Wallace; Kaitlin Hopkins, Director of Musical Theatre, Texas State University; Jermaine Hill, Asst. Chair of Theatre, Boston Conservatory at Berklee; Isabel Stein and Jamie Mann, University of Michigan; Major Curda and Zach Hermann, Carnegie-Mellon University; Darrow Klein and Camille Foisie, NYU Tisch Musical Theatre; Hannah Bonnet, Pace University; Jacob Leaf, Northwestern University; and special guest: manager Sherry Kayne, Moxie Artists.

This is a free program. If you would like to make a voluntary donation to help support Triple Threat as we strive to bring affordable arts offerings to all students, we appreciate your generosity. This is a time when arts organizations are struggling but so needed! Voluntary Donation Link
