Acting and Improv – 3rd thru 5th – Tuesdays 5 to 6 pm – Fall 2025

Acting and Improv Fundamentals (grades 3 – 5*)

Students in this class will learn the joy of acting and fall in love with the stage! Theatre games and improv will form the basis for exploring the fundamentals of acting, from using the imagination to connecting with scene partners, listening, and focusing. Students will explore scene work as this class progresses. There will be a casual presentation/parents' observation during the final class. 

Tuesdays from 5 to 6 pm
12-week session: Sept 9, 16, (skip 23), 30; Oct 7, 14*, 21, 28; Nov 4 (there IS class on Election Day), 11*, 18, (skip 25); Dec 2, 9.

Most classes will be held at beautiful Toquet Hall in downtown Westport: 
58 Post Rd E, Westport, CT (at the bottom of Main Street; enter from the alley on the Post Rd or through the hidden alley on the library side next to the book store.)
*Oct 14 class will be held at Saugatuck Congregational Church, the white church between the Playhouse and downtown Westport, 245 Post Road East (enter through the back entrance; class will be on stage in Hoskins Hall on the lower level).
*Nov 11 class with be held in the Lucille Lortel White Barn, adjacent to the Westport Playhouse, 25 Powers Court in Westport. (Near Playhouse Square on the Post Rd.)
