Adult Acting – Tuesdays 8 to 9 pm – Fall 2025

Beginners through seasoned pros are welcome to join this non-intimidating group for what we find to be some much needed acting therapy! In this class, students will explore scene work in a scene study class on par with professional classes in NY and L.A. Improv Comedy is sometimes woven in to the session, giving the actors the opportunity to bond, laugh, and develop their ability to let go and be in the moment on stage. For those acting professionally, coaching your audition scenes in class is always welcome.

Tuesdays, 8 to 9 pm
12-week session: Sept 9, 16, (skip 23), 30; Oct 7, 14*, 21, 28; Nov 4 (there IS class on Election Day), 11*, 18, (skip 25); Dec 2, 9.

Most classes will be held at beautiful Toquet Hall in downtown Westport: 
58 Post Rd E, Westport, CT (at the bottom of Main Street; enter from the alley on the Post Rd or through the hidden alley on the library side next to the book store.)
*Oct 14 class will be held at Saugatuck Congregational Church, the white church between the Playhouse and downtown Westport, 245 Post Road East (enter through the back entrance; class will be on stage in Hoskins Hall on the lower level).
*Nov 11 class with be held in the Lucille Lortel White Barn, adjacent to the Westport Playhouse, 25 Powers Court in Westport. (Near Playhouse Square on the Post Rd.)
